DMD, MSD, FACP
Ashley Hoders grew up in Fort Lauderdale, FL and graduated from the George Washington University, where she was also a Division I All-American Student Athlete (swimming).
Ashley received her DMD degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry and earned her MSD with certificates in Periodontics and Prosthodontics at the University of Texas in San Antonio. She is the first woman to complete this dual specialty program and is the only female to hold the distinction of being a Diplomate and Fellow of the American Board of Periodontology as well as the American Board of Prosthodontics in the country.
Dr. Hoders has contributed to advancing the fields of periodontics, prosthodontics, implant dentistry, and oral health education through her published research. She is the co-founder of SPEAR Hygiene and is extremely active in serving her community as a leader and member of several study clubs. She currently serves as a visiting faculty at University of Washington and is an ad-hoc reviewer for the Journal of Esthetic & Restorative Dentistry.
She believes in collaboration with other dentists to best serve patients utilizing an interdisciplinary approach and has been enjoying the Pacific Northwest since 2015 with her husband Jeremy and rescue-pup Rambo as she joined Dr. Jim Janakievski in practice.
