Special expanded President’s Reception for 2020
President Dr. Jay P. Malmquist cordially invites all Annual Meeting registrants to attend AO’s 2020 President’s Reception at the Museum of Flight.
Complementary as part of your meeting registration, this year’s iconic AO event to be held on Friday, March 20, will be a unique, one-of-a-kind opportunity to tour the Museum of Flight, located just south of Seattle. Free admission to the museum, ground transportation, hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, and live musical entertainment will all be included as part of this very special evening.
This year, AO’s President’s Reception is being expanded from two hours to three to provide AO guests ample time to tour the largest independent air and space museum in the world, which includes five large galleries across its expansive campus.
Join your colleagues from around the globe as the Museum brings mankind’s incredible history of flight to life. Tour the historic William E. Boeing Red Barn – the historic birthplace of the Boeing Airplane Company, large commercial aircraft such as the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, Concorde Supersonic Airliner, Air Force One, and jet fighters spanning the wars from Korea to the Persian Gulf under the Museum’s 9-story outdoor roofed Aviation Pavilion, the Charles Simonyl Space Gallery including the NASA Full Fuselage Space Shuttle Trainer, the J. Elroy McCaw Personal Courage Wing, the T.A. Wilson Great Gallery tracing the first century of human flight, and so much more!
